| Run On Through Joyce Meyer, Daily Devotional Run On Through
| April 6
Let us strip off and throw aside every encumbrance (unnecessary weight) and that sin which so readily (deftly and cleverly) clings to and entangles us, and let us run with patient endurance and steady and active persistence the appointed course of the race that is set before us. — Hebrews 12:1
When you begin your journey to wholeness with the Lord, you are usually all knotted up inside. As you allow Him to do so, He begins to straighten up your life by untying one knot at a time. The temptation is to run away from your problems, but the Lord says that you are to go through them. The good news is that Jesus has promised that you will never have to go through them alone. He will always be there to help you in every way. He said, “I am the way, follow Me.” When you decide to follow Jesus, you will soon learn He never turns back in fear. His path is always straightforward to the finish line.
